Start by opening the app and creating a new role. Give it a title, paste a short brief with must‑haves and nice‑to‑haves, and drag in every resume you’ve collected—PDF, DOCX, or text. Optionally set simple weights for core skills, years of experience, and industry background, then press Run. The JobXRecruiter agent evaluates candidates in the background while you move on to other tasks. You’ll get a notification when the ranking is ready, along with a quick snapshot of how many profiles cleared your baseline.

Head to Results to review. You’ll see a ranked list with a match score for each person, paired with clear reasons: matched competencies, missing requirements, role alignment, and notable achievements extracted from the document. Sort by score, filter by a minimum threshold, or exclude anyone missing a non‑negotiable. Click into any profile to read a clean, structured digest without opening the original file. From there, tag favorites, add notes, and build a shortlist with one click. Share the shortlist via link or export to CSV so your team can comment, compare, and make a decision quickly.

Hiring for multiple openings? Reuse the same resume pool. Paste a second brief—e.g., Senior Backend Engineer and Platform Reliability Lead—and run each with tailored weightings. Compare shortlists side by side to see where candidates overlap and where they diverge. If results don’t look right, recalibrate: adjust weights, label a few examples as “ideal” to guide the scoring, and run again. Iteration takes minutes, so you can tune the rubric until the top five look exactly right for your context.

When you’re ready to interview, use each candidate’s synopsis to shape targeted questions and scorecards. The analysis highlights concrete evidence from their resume you can probe during screening calls. Move selected candidates to Next Steps to keep track of outreach and scheduling, and archive the rest with reason codes for simple reporting. A stack of fifty resumes becomes a focused shortlist in the time it takes to make a coffee—freeing you to spend time on conversations, not paperwork.
